Doesn't looks like much but don't be fooled. There may be a couple flies in there and the tables might be a bit shabby. But the food is cheap and tasty!
We walked in with a group of 12 on a Saturday night, no reservation and were seated right away. There was no corkage fee so we brought our own booze, and were pleasantly surprised that the waiter was so accommodating, immediately bringing out the wine glasses and bottle opener.
We ordered soooo many dishes and yet our total came down to about $14.75 per person. An amazing feat in SF nowadays.
Would recommend the green onion pancake, pork chop w/ onion, beef chow fun, honey walnut prawns, and garlic spinach.
Service was fast, attentive and portion sizes were huge! Overall, this is a quaint neighborhood diner, with simple but yummy food that won't hurt your wallet. -

This is our to go restaurant when we have dinner with my in-laws. They like it here and foods descent. Prices have gone up and some items are smaller portions.
The restaurant is your typical hole in the wall. Service is a hit and miss. Service sucks on special occasions as they try to meet everyone's needs and turn tables around for the next reservation.
Seatings are available upstairs but not the best ambiance. Ask for lower level if possible.
Our family favorites here are...
Vegetable, Chicken Pan Fried Noodles
Beef Chow Fun
Seafood Tofu Clay Pot
Dry Scallop yellow chive soup
Sweat and Sour Chicken
Garlic snow pea shoots?? (Dow Meew)
Pay by cash if possible! They charge some weird credit surcharge so just pay cash to avoid it. -

This is gonna be a mixed review. Was craving Honey Walnut Shrimp/Prawns and with all the yelp pages I went through I decided on this place. The picture and price of like 9.50 grabbed me. Once I got to the restaurant the price on the menu was 15, was more then I was expecting. I was also planning on getting a side of white rice. The server was nice and game me a free side of rice. For the amount of prawns you get plus the free rice I was okay paying the 15. At the bottom of the menu page on yelp it does say prices may not be up to date which I didn't see at the time so that's partially on me for not double checking by calling or something. There was a bit of flys around our table. For the restaurant being pretty slow at the time, service was a little slow. The food was really good so I would definitely try them again.

My favorite neighborhood Chinese restaurant. When in a mood for decent chow, I head out here to eat. Stand out is their oxtail, fried whole boneless chicken stuffed with fried rice, Chow Mein, Salted Fish and Chicken Fried Rice and Steamed Pork Hash.

Really good place. Don't let the old decor fool you. I ordered beef chow fun and pot stickers. The food came out fresh and it was delicious. The service was great too.
